If you're reading this in January then I'm confident it's not too late to wish you a Happy New Year. If it's later in 2025 (or 2026, 2027...) then definitely too late!
After the slowdown brought on by the writers' and actors' strikes in 2024, things seem to be picking up again, at least that's my experience. I know there are stil many talented and experienced freelancers who have been struggling to find work in the film and TV industry - I hope that this year marks the beginning of an improvement.
I'm currently working with an author on an excellent book about the exciting world of armed policing, I'm script advising on a TV production, and next week I'll be back on set for yet another production which is well into its shooting schedule now. I will look forward to sharing more details of all of these once they're announced and I won't be in breach of assorted NDAs!
And I was very pleased to be invited to consult on a major feature film which is in the early stages of production. Hoping there will be more work on that project, and I cannot wait to see that one on the big screen, it will be epic!
I'm also busy working with a production company on several different projects, all of which are at differing stages. Some exciting stuff in the works there.
